Bridesmaid Survival Kit

I wanted to make the girls something special as a bridesmaid gift. With the small budget I had to work with and the large number of bridesmaids I had to be savy! So I made place-mat bathroom bags (tutorial to come) and filled them with all the things we love and need as girls. Add a cute note and it came out perfect! I also just could not resist making wooden hangers with their names on them (again, tutorial to come :)

I found an adorable saying online and made it my own. Fixing the poem so it fit just what I had placed in these handy little emergency fix bags :) The poem reads...

This Survival Kit was made just to say
I'm thrilled you're beside me on my wedding day!

There's chocolate to give you a sugar high
& a packet of tissues in case you should cry.
Lip gloss to help you care for your smile.
If a nail should break, I've included a file.
There is a shout wipe if you should spill on
 your dress.
& gum to keep your breath minty fresh.
There's pain killer if it's ill you should feel,
& Band-aids to help you tackle
high heels.
I've put everything in this handy pack,
so you'll know that this bride has got your back!
This kit was created so that you can see
how much you mean to this bride to be!!

I included the cute little red flower each girl wore on their bridesmaid dress :)

  2. Thanks Girl!! I really wanted to make the girls something useful on a small budget. Since I worked at Victoria's Secret while I was putting these together I got some great discounts on the body spray and shower gel :) The rest of the items were easy to find at Target.
