Pumpkin Time & Fun Fall Date Ideas!

I am not really sure that my husband or I really got the memo about being adults. We are all about fun during fall! We love apple picking, pumpkin carving, corn mazes and it seems the best time of the year for wine tasting! 

Oscar is all ready to carve! (Actually he spent most of his time watching from the kennel)

I just love fall dates! It just seems like the perfect time of year for cheap dates! Below I've listed a few of our favorites.

1. Apple Picking

-We found out that the nearest apple orchard is over an hour from Charlotte, bummer! Instead we went to Trader Joes and got apples and cider plus some pumpkins!

2. Pumpkin Picking

3. Corn Maze walkin'

4. Hiking

5. Visit your local Farmers Market

6.Bake a pumpkin pie from scratch! 

(no pumpkin in a can people!)

7. Wine Tasting 

(It usually only costs a few dollars each)

8. Walking around Ikea with Coffee

(which you can buy there)

9. Movie & Cooking Night

(Make a special meal TOGETHER and watch a fall appropriate movie, can anyone say "Goonies"??)

10. Find your favorite city spot

(Calvin and I have found a fun little shopping center that we love. We usually get coffee on Sunday after church and walk around. We love to stop in Target, West Elm, Marshalls and Trader Joes. We always come out with a few cheap purchases and a fun meal to cook for dinner.)
